This last one is of the north star on a 30 minute exposure. Its the only star in the sky that doesn’t move. I’m pretty happy with the fountain shot too, it was at sunset using a tripod. I wanted to do a longer exposure so the water looked soft.
Bonfire Night is held in Hastings every year on the closest Saturday to October 14th which is the date of the Battle of Hastings. Many Bonfire Societies from all around march through the town and eventually end up on the beach for a huge bonfire and a breath taking fireworks show. It beats hands down any bonfire night celebrations I`ve ever seen and is attended by thousands. Its the largest show in Sussex. Here with a few pictures to give you a feel of the night. The Urban Voodoo Machine are a London based band playing in their own words `Bourbon soaked Gypsy Blues Bop and Stroll`
In December they will be supporting the Pogues in the UK on ten separate dates. They are a hard working band with original material that deserve more than ever the recognition they are now getting. They are fantastic live and really get things going with there a mixture of ballads and up beat songs that make you want to dance. Lyrics are interesting and sometimes adult in nature but always entertaining.
I was lucky enough to be asked by the the lead singer P-R Angel to get a shot of their tour manager and drummer Gavin for their forthcoming album.
