I’d often wondered by on the A21 but never turned in. Its more like a fairy tale cottage than a castle. Its also the place where my camera died with the fearsome ”error 99″ message. I’ll be sending it to canon for repair and buying myself a new camera in the meantime.
I caught up with lady Ane Angel for a portrait session and had the chance to try out my portable light stand and such as we did the shoot at her home in east London. I turned up early and we had a good breakfast and a chat then got down to business. As it happened a performer friend of hers was there from Paris and we ended up doing two shoots. I’ll let you see the results of that in a later post but for now her is my favorite portrait of the day of lady Ane.

Back when I first got the camera I use now I was at the airport on my way to New York. That was at xmas 2007 and we had a lovely time with our friends Adam and Tiger. New York impressed me immensely. I thought after London nothing much would impress me, but New York delighted me with its attitude and architecture. I thought I would share some of the highlights with you. Most of the pictures are from the top of the Empire State Building. Considering this beast was built back in the 1930′s its still has an incredible impact today. There are prettier buildings in New York, but none as iconic or quite so big.
Last year in August the baebes played Barden’s Boudoir, an intimate venue in Dalston London N16. To say the gig went well is an understatement. The girls performed admirably and the act went down really well with the crowd. Here are a few shots from the night. http://www.mediaevalbaebes.com/
That same night after the performance, Lady Ane Angel did her stuff withere her burlesque snake charming fire breathing act. Visit her at http://www.myspace.com/ladyane
