December has been great but nothing has given it more of a sparkle than Burlesk Winter Warmer. The event took place on the 19th Decemeber at Venuu in Hastings. Organiser Severine Sinful did another fantastic job running the night and looked wonderful besides in her fantastic costume.

A big part of these nights are the hostesses. They are on hand throughout the evening to be gorgeous, clear performers stages, and generally help out. On this occasion there were three.
Wiggle. Wiggle is lovely girl who amongst other things models and is a photographer. We chatted a bit and she was nice enough to pose by the George Street Christmas tree during a smoking break.
Maid Desyre is a regular at this event and is generally the one who clears the stage after each performance. Again lovely girl. She might have her first act sorted sometime next year after one or two more classess with Domino.
I did not meet this lovely lady properly and so am not sure of her name. I’ll find out as soon as I can and post it here.

Domino Burlesk is the resident performer at this event and she treated us to a fantastic multimedia show. Before her act a short film played staring her good self, and after the show the film continued. Imaginative as always and a great performance.

A regular attendee of the night is Bella De Jac, and we were treated to two great shows during the night, including one I hadn’t seen before called Living Doll. It was great to see Bella again and we should be working on some new pictures together soon.

Miss Glory Pearl dazzled us again with two acts on the pole, one of them blindfolded. Incredibly talented performer with a genuine gift for comedy.

Vivica Devine performed again with her brand new act and I caught up with her for this shot before the show. Hopefully we will be working together next year on some promotional shots.

Two new first timers performed on the night.
Raspberry Ripples
Venus Black
The crowd loved the show and many dressed up for the occassion.

All in all it was a fantastic night and good time was had by all. I leave you with some behind the scenes shots of other staff, performer husbands, photographers and collaborators. Enjoy

The Urban Voodoo Machine are hard a work on their next album, and last Friday I caught up with PR Angel and Dr. Will and his band in the studio. It was great to be witness to some of the magic happening as Dr. Will recorded some backing vocals for the UVM’s album. It all finished off with a unplanned B Side track that was great to witness and I even joined in with a whistle or two. Follow the link below for more photos on the band’s site.
Enjoy these photos of the session.

Finally here with the New York Dolls pictures from the recent gig at the HMV Forum London.
The dolls were great and the crowd loved the show. Those of the Dolls I met were all very lovely guys.

Last week I met up with the lovely Josie Williams for a fashion shoot at Rochester Castle. The people at the castle were very helpful, thank you.
Josie worked really hard and managed to freeze her toes off. Thanks for being a trooper.
I really liked the results and present them here in several sets.

Friday 4th of December saw the Urban Voodoo Machine support the legendary New York Dolls. I was thrilled to personally meet some of the dolls backstage. The Voodoo Machine were on fire and played an amazing show to an appreciative crowd. No pictures of the Dolls in this post but will save it for the future and include a few backstage shots.
