Last week saw a sellout show for Skinny Pete Promotions Skinny Pete website in Canterbury with his First Time Follies burlesk competition. I’ve been furiously working on the photos but have had a lot on so apologies if you’ve been waiting for these.

Now read on for a little write up of the night. As there are so many photos and so little time I just randomly selected some shots I like to give you a taste of the night.
The very beautiful Lydia. A burlesque night distinguishes itself from a common strip night in many ways. One of those ways are the hostesses, there to help prepare the stage for the next act. Lydia did a fantastic job along with the other hostesses, beaming out smiles and hospitality all round.
Honey Schnapps. Authentic grease monkey tough girl. Great performance.
The gorgeous Tia Brodie wowed us with her fantastic voice and her curvy figure.
The slightly shy but lovely Piratica, once a hostess, now a performer. Great job on the night.
The lovely Fluffy Bunster. She had a fantastic costume that she made herself and she was lots of fun on the night.
The stunning Rosa Swan.
The wonderful Beccy. First person to get me a drink at a gig everand there to brighten up the place and help everyone. A true hostess.
Another hostess Kerri. One of my favorite shots of the night. Kerrie and I might work together in the future and she was lots of fun on the night. I took this shot in the interval.
Lilly de Lure and Fluffy Bunster.
The very fun Delilah Cherryblossom. Great girl, great act, and one fantastic dancer.

Miss Kandy Sprinkles, voted the winner independently by both the audience and the judges. What was it about her show that won the night? For me it was her incredible energy during her performance.
Queenie Valentine. Great act, lots of character.
And the hostesses of the evening, burlesque and cabaret veteran Glory Pearl. Combining pole work, ariel antics, comedy and plenty of sass, First Time Follies was lucky enough to have this talented lady announcing the various acts.
I’ve heard one performer name him ‘Darling Pete’. The man behind the magic of Skinny Pete Promotions.
Two of the Judges, Serverine Sinful and Domino Burlesk, performers and promoters with tons of experience. Well qualified for the job. Domino managed to come along despite feeling poorly so well done.
The beautiful Pixie Frisk. wonderful expressions on this performer who comes from an acting background. Super outfit, great act and wonderful girl.
The Timeless Beauties entertained us whilst voting took place.

Another big part of the burlesque night are the dressed up crowd. it all adds to the unique fun of the night.

Despite not being ready on time it went fantastically well and it was great to see it all hanging up in all its glory.
Although the exhibition is previewed in this video, it is nothing like seeing the prints in person.

Well its been a mad week with the snow, and one of the knock on effects was that my first solo exhibition was pushed back a week. I was so disappointed but now I’m looking forward to Saturday. Its strange this exhibiting lark. Now that I’ve started properly I have so much to show beyond the 13 photographs in this exhibition. It seems the Gypsy Hotel club night is going from strength to strength. Timeout has included a photo of mine in their website with a piece on the upcoming night on Saturday 16th January. Its made the critics choice and that is a high accolade from a magazine as established as Timeout. Excellent! Click the pic for a larger version
Well its been a week of snow and I’ve been hard at work sorting out my massive photo library. Some measure of organisation is forming so look forward to plenty of new stuff.
So Gypsy Hotel ran a new years eve night at Bardens in London and it was a intimate and fun affair. We had various act, including live music from, Ria Green, Rasp Thorne, Matt Millership and The Urban Voodoo Machine, and dark cabaret from Captian Howdy’s Flying Circus, Suri Sumatra, Lady Ane Angel and Lalla Morte with Chris Martin. Everyone was on top form BUT THE URBAN VOODOO MACHINE were just inspiring, giving everyone a huge treat, filling the stage and managing to move around plenty despite the squeeze, for more than two hours.

On the 30th December I was asked to come along and take photo at the NYEE Masked Ball put on by The Last Tuesday Society. These parties are lavish events with something for everyone. Enjoy a jacuzzi in The Bath House or eat from the Feast Table with gold painted girls looking on. Perhaps catch a band on your way to the erotic still life class, or have a dance in the room next door.
Fantastic night all round.
