Its Your Funeral is brought to you by Charlie Buckitt (one 1/4 of The Late Night Shop) and James Elphick, producer, curator and thoroughly nice chap. Its a New Orleans style funeral romp, sometimes funny, shocking, and exciting. The house band play a big part in the night, but its theatre and cabaret too, with things going on in the basement and in the halls. Its a great use of The Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.
The second outing is on tomorrow night (May9th) but sadly I can’t make it myself.
You should go though as its unique and the best thing you can do on a Thursday and one of the most original new nights.

The Late Night Shop are a group of girls that have been doing good things in cabaret and now have put on their own nights.
The first was this, Welcome To The Family at the Resistance Gallery.
Very interesting night with a wealth of cabaret, including some walk round acts, stage acts and even life drawing in one corner.
There was a real party vibe and people stayed late dancing.
Well done to the girls and thanks for having me along.
This is the full album, with some nudity, so be warned.

Another fun night at The Infamous Double R Club.
Usual macabre goings on with plenty of part nudity, blood and misadventure.
Beautiful crowd this time too
Next one this Thursday, 18th April.
Tickets still available here
Keep your eye out for one off performances elsewhere in the year, including the South Bank’s Wonderland.

The 1 hour photoshoot took place early march and unfortunately was undersold after a couple of cancellations sadly due to a funeral in Scotland. It was still a great day with two lively and very different performers turning up in the morning and then Suri Sumatra in the afternoon for a promo video shoot we are working on together, although we made a tiny bit of time for photos too.
The April date is happily sold out and May only has a few slots available. New dates for June, July and August have been confirmed, dates as follows: April 6th May 4th June 1st July 6th Aug 10th.
