Organised by Severine Sinful, this regular Hastings night fell on Pirate Day, where Hastings achieved the world record for the most pirates in one place, almost doubling the previous record from Florida, to a grand total of 6000+.
Great night all round as usual.

Brand new night organised by Domino Burlesk with art as the inspiration for Burlesque acts.
Domino Burlesk, Severine Sinful, Rose Thorn, Glory Pearl and Honour Mission all appeared to the crowd’s delight.
A couple of photos also of the crowd and my fellow photographers on the night, John and Sarah.

Went along to this great little show just before it left London to go to the Edinburgh Festival.
Tempest Rose, Betsey Rose, Dani California, Lola Labelle, hoops and contortion, and a false fire alarm.
I enjoyed taking shots outside while we all had to wait for the fire brigade to check the venue.

Last month saw a friend’s band compete in a Battle of the Bands type competition for a chance to play a music festival in the Maldives.
The slideshow gallery above is some street photography I did whilst waiting for the band to arrive.
Below is a picture of the band with Karolina from Jar Music Group.

It was a blistering show for The Urban Voodoo Machine at Download on Saturday. It was a relatively early slot but the Redbull Stage filled up quickly when the band came on. It was a 25 minute set that had the crowd shouting and clapping all the way through. Follow these links to the facebook albums.

It was another intimate night at The Beacon Court Tavern in Gillingham for Skinny Pete’s Fresh Follies. Eleven acts graced the stage and all of them were just great, especially for the less experienced. Here with some portraits from the night.
