Its Your Funeral is brought to you by Charlie Buckitt (one 1/4 of The Late Night Shop) and James Elphick, producer, curator and thoroughly nice chap. Its a New Orleans style funeral romp, sometimes funny, shocking, and exciting. The house band play a big part in the night, but its theatre and cabaret too, with things going on in the basement and in the halls. Its a great use of The Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club.
The second outing is on tomorrow night (May9th) but sadly I can’t make it myself.
You should go though as its unique and the best thing you can do on a Thursday and one of the most original new nights.

The Late Night Shop are a group of girls that have been doing good things in cabaret and now have put on their own nights.
The first was this, Welcome To The Family at the Resistance Gallery.
Very interesting night with a wealth of cabaret, including some walk round acts, stage acts and even life drawing in one corner.
There was a real party vibe and people stayed late dancing.
Well done to the girls and thanks for having me along.
This is the full album, with some nudity, so be warned.

With the last ever night of La Reve coming up at the end of November I wanted to get this up despite feeling like I have no time.
Enjoy

A brave new theatre/club night experience for something a little different.
Really happy to cover this night, and well done to all involved.

What can I say about this wonderful event? Privileged to be there.
Went along with The Dalston Devil Trio and bumped into quite a few people, including Ophelia and Miranda.
