Norway is without doubt one of the most beautiful countries I have visited, mountains, trees, and fjords everywhere. The Norwegians are very hospitable, and in the North of the country, pretty damn crazy. Alcohol is expensive so many people brew their own moonshine. I may decide to add a people post sometime but for now enjoy these landscape shots of Northern Norway, from the island of Heroy.
Once leaving the Towner Gallery on my way back to the car I switched cameras and was looking for some bird shots with my zoom lens. Eastbourne has a sort of large garden along some of the front and it attracts many garden birds. Usually on the sea front there are mainly seagulls. The difference in the birds food accounts for where you will find them. Anyway these birds are obviously very used to people because I got up really close to some of them. Click for big.
Low tide around my home in St Leonard’s is pretty special. I’ve been enjoying the new lens and the blurred effects it can give. Here are a few shots to give you a taste.
Before I got into photography professionally I was a keen natural world photographer. I thought I would share some of my favorite shots. Enjoy.
You don’t associate vultures as beautiful but this one at Eagle Heights certainly was. I love the textures and blurred background.
Popped to this Kent based bird sanctuary called Eagle Heights. Will have to return there on a nicer day.
