James and Maria

Last month saw James and Maria get married at Islington Town hall and then back to their lovely home for a garden barbecue. It was a lovely day all round with wonderful energy and good feeling. Thanks to everyone for making it such an enjoyable day.

Linda and Gordon

Had a last minute wedding booking last week for Gordon and Linda. It was a great church that was special to Linda’s family and then later off to a country hall for food, speeches, and dancing.

Lots of great detail at this wedding and a heartfelt speech from the Groom (bride assisting) thanking friends and loved ones for support and favours.

Linda saw to it I was fed and watered which was really nice, great vegetarian food too.

The wedding album has been updated but here with a few shots of the day.

The couple wrote me a wonderful testimonial which I include here:

Dominic and Claire

The end of October saw Dominic and Claire get married in Lee-0n-Solent. I drove down early and visited the bride and groom separately for the before shots. I had a little time to kill before the registry office so went and checked out the golf club for the evening reception and then arrived very early to the registry office to hunt out any possible locations for shots. Normally I like to visit the location before hand but the distance wouldn’t allow that. Still being prepared and getting there early helps.

It was a lovely wedding and it was nice to get a few compliments on the day. Thanks guys.

This is my latest wedding couple that I met at my last wedding. Really looking forward to being with you both on your special day. They are both a lot of fun and I got this shot of them when we met.

Covered a lovely wedding in Eastbourne in late May at the Langeham Hotel. Great place for a small wedding. By the end I felt like one of the guests. Great day all round. Here with a few highlights. More in the Wedding page.

From a wedding earlier in the month in London. Great day all round. The bride and groom are my second cousins so I made them a photo book as a present. It came out really nicely although I haven’t heard from them yet as they are away on their honeymoon.

Late last month I had my first meeting with a couple I will be photographing in May. They seem a lovely pair and very much in love. These meetings are very important to get things right on the day so we went over everything together. A little bit of planning goes a long way. Look forward to seeing you again guys.

Welcome to my first post on this my shiny new website. Thanks to Adam and Tiger for getting me hooked up so quickly with everything I needed to manage most of the content myself. For my first post then I would like to show my favorite shot from a wedding I covered in May.
