Portraits
This project has been running since 2009 and is already out of control in terms of numbers. The below slideshow takes 30 minutes to watch and includes 607 photos as the first cut of 2000.
I like catching people at their most open, ready to have a good time. These portraits were all taken at club events, gigs and parties.
I believe there is a connection with the photographer that influences the pictures allowing me to sometimes capture something other than an interesting moment or the subject’s true self, more the desired true self, the person as they want to be.
I am always interested in people and their motivations and try to look for this in my work.
