Happy New Year!
First post of 2016 for a shoot that took place last November. I promise to be a better blogger but make sure to check the facebook links too as quite a bit appears there.
Scarlett is one of my favourite people in the cabaret and burlesque world and is always a pleasure to work with. She has a big heart and supports the calendar and is genuinely fun to be around. We hatched a plan on this occasion to work in Hastings and split our time between the seafront and the studio, and then onto a local house that is being renovated. The idea was to stay overnight with her man Steven but I ended up having a bit of a family emergency and the guys were so gracious and set off for home quite late after some lovely take away. We fitted in loads largely due to Steven’s help with the lights, and went from wind, to hard sunshine, to studio, then to the house with no light, so we shot some of it with mobile phone lights. Loved using so many different techniques. Enjoy the photos and see the full album here.
I’ll be doing a select number of similar experiences in 2016 so if you fancy talking about a Friday night sleep over in Hastings with studio time let me know.
